Our Commitment:

At Paseo Aquatics, athlete safety is our top priority. As the first swim team in Southern California to be recognized as Safe Sport Compliant, our commitment entails upholding stringent standards set forth by USA Swimming, ensuring vigilance and proactive measures against minor abuse. We encourage families to familiarize themselves with the Safe Sport Handbook, available for addressing day-to-day concerns, reporting incidents, and staying informed about policy updates.

In collaboration with the California Department of Justice, CANRA, USA Swimming, and the National SafeSport Center, we foster a training environment that is devoid of any form of behavior that makes a member feel unsafe. This includes, but is not limited to, physical or emotional abuse, bullying, harassment, hazing, or any type of sexual or other misconduct.

We understand that safeguarding your children is paramount, which is why we are committed to keeping parents informed and educated on Safe Sport matters. Our coaches, parents, and swimmers undergo comprehensive training to stay abreast of best practices, with a strong emphasis on promptly reporting any incidents.

When selecting a club for your child, we encourage you to choose one that is Safe Sport recognized and certified by USA Swimming. It is crucial to entrust your child's development to an organization that prioritizes transparency and accountability, free from any history of concealing abuse.
