Marco Bellardi, has left an indelible mark on the swimming world as both an athlete and a coach. Marco's journey began with his involvement in esteemed swim teams, including the Emil Friedman Club, the Venezuelan Army, and the Venezuelan Army National Team, shaping his deep-rooted passion for the sport.

Transitioning from athlete to coach, Marco has held various leadership positions across prestigious organizations, making significant contributions to the swimming community. Notable highlights of his coaching career include serving as the Head Age Group Coach at Canyons Aquatics California and the Head Coach at Midtown Weston Aquatics. His coaching expertise extends internationally, having coached the Venezuela National Team at events such as CCCAN and UANA.

Marco's coaching philosophy revolves around nurturing the natural abilities of young athletes, fostering qualities of persistence, determination, and leadership. He believes in the power of consistent effort and incremental progress, emphasizing that "little by little, a little becomes a lot."

 

As a coach, Marco leads by example, embodying qualities of love, compassion, and dedication. He strives to create a positive team culture, motivating and inspiring his athletes to achieve their full potential.

Marco's educational background and coaching credentials further attest to his expertise in the field. With degrees in Physical Education and Biomechanics, along with numerous certifications and research projects, Marco's depth of knowledge enriches his coaching approach.

Beyond coaching, Marco is deeply involved in his community, serving as a teacher across various educational levels and participating in endurance sports like Ironman Triathlons and marathons. He finds fulfillment in spending time with his family, including his two children, Kevin and Nicol, who have excelled both academically and athletically.
